And Then There Was Faith...

The bible tells a story about a woman who experienced 12 long years of hemorrhaging. Seeking to become well, this woman only got worse over the years, at the same time, depleting all of her money going from doctor to doctor.
Feeble and impoverished monetarily and physically, she persistently pressed to have a better life. Regardless of her evident circumstances, she would not, and did not give up on herself, or her life.
After hearing about Jesus, she feebly pushed her way through a massive crowd of people to reach him, because she felt within herself that if she simply touched the hem of his garment, that she would be made whole. As she pressed forward, her faith rested not on how she felt, or on how bleak her condition was. She purposed to obtain wholeness in her life, and after 12 long years of experiencing turmoil, she certainly was not going to give up now.
She pressed and pressed until she reached Jesus. She touched his garment, and she was instantly healed. This poor woman did not feel sorry for herself or give up because of seemingly impossible circumstances.
She knew that her bleak life could be brightened -- and with purpose, action, and FAITH -- so it was.
Are you feeling sorry for yourself because of seemingly impossible circumstances in your life today? Do you feel as though you've tried everything within your power to obtain an abundant life? Does it seem that no matter what you do things only get worse?
My friend, your seemingly impossible circumstances do not have to end with bleak results. Don't wait to feel powerful to take your first step toward a life of wholeness.
Press through your weakness, negativity, and self-doubt -- and just as this shattered woman experienced, you too will realize that when all else fails -- faith, and then prevails.
